And no crowds here, either! Having a place in the farm district seems to work out pretty well!

[ He just nods and keeps his gaze skyward until the last of the lights sparkle across the sky, enjoying being loosely knotted like this with her. It was crazy, what they were doing. But it was nice, too. The final pop of a stray firework sounds and everything goes quiet. No revelers can be heard here, no crowds. It's just he and her and the night, dark and calm. ]

[ The nice thing about this neighbourhood is the way the farms intermingle with the residential district, leading to tree lined pathways and dimly lit alleys at convenient intervals. It makes for a nice walk back, even when tipsy; she doesnt usually pay any attention to the scenery when she's traveling on her bike. ]

I remember one time it got long enough for me to pull up in the middle. Like a ponytail, only a really short one. Mostly South kept it shorter than that for me though.

[ He leads her to the front walk and stops to face her again. He'd already kissed her once, was it too brash to go for another? Young him wouldn't have thought so, anyway. He decides to lean in and give her a kiss on the cheek before pulling back. That was a nice compromise. ]
