North Sanctums CRAU Explanandum

CRAU History:
North was in Sanctums for 3 months of in-game time (about 8 months OOC time). Sanctums was a panfandom dystopian horror game with elements of body horror and mental control. The setting was a city called Proles on the planet Zeus, which was encased in a dome in order to protect the population from a contagion outside known as dysthrophy. The corporation in charge of the city was called Bifrons. Bifrons was something like Jorgmund, only possibly worse; NPCs in charge of Bifrons included a compliance officer (the Coho) who would hypnotize or torture characters into cooperating with their efforts. Characters would first awaken in game with a row of ports having been implanted down their spine.
As per Korel’s permission, I’m AUing the game history to include the Freelancer characters having their own AIs, instead of the AIs being humanized.

- North arrived in Proles to find several people he knew being under the dome, including York, with Delta, and Carolina. His sister, South, arrived not long after.
- On New Year’s Eve, a computer virus infected the software that is being pushed from Bifrons to each residents’ ports. Known as the Thanos virus, it made the residents irritable and easily angered. South disappeared during the time the virus was still at work, and an anonymous source sent North a video; she had been taken to Bifrons headquarters and never emerged through its doors again. Due to the virus, a friend of North’s gathered some friends to help him attack the tower that contained the mayor’s office. North decided to help because he thought he might discover what happened to his sister there.
- Bifrons sent Wrath, of Wrath platoon of the Ghost Wolves, to fight them off. Wrath ran North over with her hoverbike and defeated the team. However, Carolina knocked Wrath off the top floor of the building and caused her tremendous injuries.
- After this, Wrath’s commander, Hob Ravani, who is also Callsign Victor, contacted him over the public network to discuss him joining the militia. The Coho picked North up before he got a chance to visit Ravani, however, and convinced him not to help her. Ravani had to convince him once again, but in the end, he did decide to join the militia.
- Ravani told him to visit Wrath in the hospital. He wasn’t really very interested, since she had been the one to run him over with a hoverbike, but he did so. He found her to be different from what he expected, and the two hit it off.
- Another default in the port software caused people to be able to see alternate universes in reflective surfaces, and North and York saw one in which they had been in love. York and North end up in bed because of the memories that they were confronted with. Despite this, York encouraged North’s budding relationship with Wrath.
- North received his challenge coin at the end of his training for the militia and became Pride lieutenant of the Ghost Wolves.
- North continued to visit Wrath in the hospital daily, one time intercepting compliance officers who were attempting to drag her from her bed.
- A new default in the port software caused a shared dreamscape. Unaware at first that it was all a dream, North and Wrath solidified their relationship. Later on they agree they meant it, however.
- Wrath was released from the hospital and North helped her pick out a new house.
- Ravani’s plans in having the Immune join the militia came to fruition and the Callsign program was eliminated, causing the militia to become the Proles Free Army. Upset at the change, the population of the Dome rioted.
- After the transition was complete, North’s monogamy conflicted with Wrath’s polyamorous outlook, and the two broke up.
- Not long before North disappeared from the Dome, North and Maine worked out army rotations to guard the new dock that would allow people to leave the Dome.
